Rusty was born up in the Rocky Mountains of Montana.

It was a good life, but one day some men came and they caught all horses and they put them into a truck. The truck was narrow and the road was bumpy so it wasn´t a nice trip. The men brought Rusty to a brutal man. His name was Bill and he hit Rusty because he wanted to show him that he was the boss.

But one day Rusty kicked him on his leg so that he had to go to the hospital. When he came back he sold Rusty to a Rodeo rider. Her name was Cheryl and she trained Rusty for barrel races and after a while he won and won. Then Rusty was older and he lost races, so Cheryl sold him to Ed and Martha Gooch. They have a ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. So Rusty came home in the end.
