Gruppe 7

1. Rusty was born in the Rocky Mountains in Montana and as a young horse he had a good life.
2. Men caught the mustangs and that was the last moment that Rusty saw his parents.
3. The road was bumpy and there wasn't much room for the horses in the truck. Hours later the truck stopped and a new life began for Rusty.
4. Rusty stayed on a ranch in Colorado with Bronco Bill, who kicked Rusty and said: You have to show'em who's boss.
5. Bronco hit Rusty and tied a rope around one of his legs and so he had to stand on three legs for many hours.
6. The only thing he learned from Bronco Bill is that Rusty hated him. Bronco broke his leg and came into hospital and when he came back he used a whip on Rusty.
7. A young woman, whose name was Cheryl, came and she seemed to like him. Rusty came into a truck and he saw Bronco Bill never again.
8. Cheryl never hit Rusty. Working with her was fun and he felt good with Cheryl.
9. Cheryl was a rodeo rider and Rusty rode with her in barrel races. The first barrel race was terrible because he came last in the finish. But the next races they were first in the finish. They made lot of money and they were really happy.
10. Some rodeo events are dangerous and lots of horses got hurt, but Rusty was never hurt in a barrel race because he was young, strong and fast, but he got older and slower and so he lost many races. Cheryl needed a younger horse and so Rusty was sold to someone else.
11. Rusty came on a ranch in the Rocky Mountains to Ed Gooch. He has a good life on this ranch and it's great when he has a good rider, but it's not good when a person from city rides him. He has come home at last and that's great for Rusty.
