HRD (ministery of education) rubbishes MIT's laptop scheme for kids
* The HRD are opponents of the experimentation "One-Laptop-Per-Child" * These are their arguments: * The money for the laptops can be better spent on primary and secondary education * The HRD doesn't understand, why Nicholas Negroponte of MIT Media Laboratory haven't chosen a developed country * The ministry HRD debated about the right age of the target group * They also talked about the adverse health effect
* They are just talking about whether they should establish the "OLPC" with the opposite side UNCLEAR!!!
Criterias
1. powering up: - very slow
2. tiping: - Very difficult because the keyboard is too small
3. screen: -very small and minimalistic
-the resolution is not very qualified in order to work in the internet
4. battery: -the battery life is too short for working with the laptop in the lesson
5. touchpad: -is okay
6. lid: -is very bad quality
7. readability of internet pages: -is bad because you have to scroll
8. ram: -okay but if you want to open more than 2 programms ==> it´s to less
