On the cartoon from Duffy from 31.august 2008 you can see the situation of Clinton-voters after the election of the presidential-candidate of the democrats.

There is a woman with a “Hillary”-banner and a “Hillary”-hut sitting on a chair. She is looking very disappointed , because Obama is celebrating his candidature. In the background you can see Mr McCain and Mrs Palin of the republican-party , who are smiling friendly to the woman and trying to get her attention. This cartoon shows that the republican candidate is looking after people like the woman , that supported Hillary Clinton. He wants to make use of their disappointment to get votes from them. Especially women fit into their yield schematic , because with Sarah Palin as running mate of McCain they have the chance to get a woman in a high political position.
