  1. The olympics are important for big sports companies because the athletes in the world are there and they win the competitions and everybody sees the brand of sportwear that help them to win! This is the perfect advertisement.
  2. Workers in the global sportswear industry are paid so little, because the companies must sell their clothes cheaper in order to compete with each other. As a result the workers are paid less money.
