1. Rusty was born in the Rocky Mountains in Montanna and as a young horse he had a good life.
2. Many men caught the horses and pushed them on a truck and many horses died.
3. The truck was narrow and dark and terrible for the horses.
4. The truck brought them to Colorado on a ranch. The owner was a terrible man who beat the horse every day.
5. They lost in a barrel race, but they were happy and got much money.
6. A lot of horses were hurt, but Rusty was never hurt in a barrel race because he was too good and young.
