We don't want to have laptops at school, because the culture of hand-writing would get lost and we think it is easier to remember things, if you have written them by hand. Moreover you would be exposed to the radiation. In addition many pupils already have their own laptop anyway.

BUT: tests should be written by hand, because you could cheat

NO: We don't think learning with a laptop is more effective, because you will be distracted by many things like games or tux paint. Furthermore you will get square eyes, as every child knows:)
Criticism
- WHAT IS ....no solution for the problems in Africa
- misplaced priorities: clean water and schools are more important
- attempt to exploit poor nations by making them pay for the laptops
- it is "imperialistic"
- over high-tech unclear!!!
- too expensive: libraries would be cheaper and they would ....
