We don't want to have laptops at school, because the culture of hand-writing would get lost and we think it is easier to remember things, if you have written them per hand. Moreover you would be exposed to the radiation. In addition many pupils already have their own laptop anyway.

Their are some subjects in which laptops would be useful.
- In English you can use an online-dictionary
- In Physics you can look for physical tests körperliche ....???
- In Music you can use online programs to create songs and you can listen to songs
- In German you can read many texts on the internet
- In other minor subjects you can find a lot of information
BUT: tests should be written per hand, because you could cheat

NO: We don't think learning with a laptop is more effective, because you will be distracted by many things like games or tux paint. Furthermore you will get quare eyes which even every child knows:)
Criticism
- no solution for the problems in Africa
- misplaced priorities: clean water and schools are more important
- attempt to exploit poor nations by paying for the laptops
- it is "imperialistic"
- over high-tech
- too expensive: libraries would be cheaper
